Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

Description:

Our Tax team is building to work with other corporate functions on tax advisory, planning, structuring, and tax controversy. We ensure compliance in direct (corporate income tax) and indirect tax and solve tax related issues.

TikTok is seeking an enthusiastic Tax Specialist to join the tax team. The position will be focused on corporate taxes, including both tax compliance and tax consulting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for data preparation for tax calculations and filings
• Supervise tax return filings and tax payment process. Participate in the monthly closing procedure. Provide oversight and review of Turkish aspects of the quarterly and year-end tax provision
• Collaborate with the finance team on workflow and tax queries, as well as communicate with accounting/tax vendors
• Provide professional assessment of tax implications of the company’s activities in Turkey

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above
• 4+ years of tax compliance and accounting experience in large Multinational Corporations and/or accounting firms
• Strong knowledge of accounting, tax legislation and practice, as well as TMT industry specifics
