Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and implement complex business applications using the Mendix platform, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and system designs.
  • Solution Architecture: Create and maintain the application architecture, ensuring it aligns with the overall system architecture and meets performance, security, and scalability requirements.
  • Custom Module Development: Develop custom modules and widgets using Mendix Modeler and other relevant technologies to extend the functionality of the platform.
  • Data Modeling: Design and implement data models and database structures to support application requirements and ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications to identify and resolve defects and ensure smooth functionality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Mendix features, tools, and best practices, and provide recommendations for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, user guides, and release notes.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery and provide technical support and guidance when needed.
  • Mentoring and Training: Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices, Mendix development techniques, and problem-solving approaches.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in IT or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience working with the Mendix platform.
  • Advanced Mendix Developer certificate is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Mendix development principles, best practices, and design patterns.
  • Proficient in Mendix Modeler, including building microflows, pages, and domain models.
  • Experience with Mendix App Services, such as security, performance optimization, and deployment.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
  • Experience in working with widgets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality results within project timelines.
  • Arabic fluency is an add on.
