Work Horizon is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and manage our sales team focused on the Canadian and U.S. markets. The ideal candidate will be a strong sales leader with B2B experience, capable of driving revenue growth, managing team performance, and building long-term relationships with international clients. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and hands-on involvement throughout the full sales cycle—from prospecting to successfully closing deals.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Business Development Associates Set team targets, monitor KPIs, and provide regular coaching and performance feedback Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted industries Manage the complete sales cycle (prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing) Conduct proactive B2B outreach, including cold calling and client engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders and marketing decision-makers Collaborate with the CAD Sales Manager to align strategies with client needs Maintain accurate records of sales pipelines, activities, and revenue forecasts Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Minimum 2 years of experience as a Team Lead Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sales Manager At least 3 years of overall sales experience Proven experience managing teams of 10–12 members Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills Ability to work in a target-driven environment Strong expertise in B2B lead generation and outbound sales
