This role is a commission-based Business Development position for a web agency that specializes in WordPress websites, including landing pages, e-commerce stores, and full business websites. The primary responsibility is to bring in new clients by making referrals and introductions. The company handles all sales, development, and delivery processes, while the Business Development Manager focuses only on client acquisition and lead generation. The role is fully remote and income is based entirely on successful deals closed through referrals.

Responsibilities

Identify and refer potential business clients for website development Connect with business owners, marketers, freelancers, and consultants Generate leads through networking and outreach Introduce clients to the agency for conversion Maintain communication with potential leads until handover Focus on building strong referral networks No involvement in technical work, delivery, or project management Earn commission on each successful client conversion

Qualifications

Experience or confidence in business development or sales (preferred) Strong networking and communication skills Ability to identify potential business clients Basic understanding of websites and digital services (helpful) Self-motivated and able to work independently Good persuasion and relationship-building skills Prior experience in referrals or sales is an advantage
