Junior Network Support Engineer

Tekboox IT Company is urgently looking to hire a Junior Network Support Engineer to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are eager to build their careers in networking. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of networking fundamentals, routing protocols, and initial configuration of network devices such as routers and switches.

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, and firewalls). Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN network issues to ensure minimal downtime. Support configuration and management of routing protocols such as BGP, EGP, and OSPF. Perform basic network configurations including VLANs, IP addressing, and port setup. Monitor network performance and report issues to senior engineers. Provide first-level technical support to end-users for network-related concerns. Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, updates, and changes. Assist senior engineers in network upgrades, deployments, and optimization tasks.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Upto 1 year of relevant experience CCNA certification (completed or in progress) will be an advantage. Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Familiarity with routing protocols, including: BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) EGP (Exterior Gateway Protocol) OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) Basic knowledge of router and switch configuration. Understanding of VLANs, subnetting, and IP addressing. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
