Description

The Sales Manager – SLED IT Sales at Zones PK will lead and develop a high-performing inside sales team supporting the U.S. State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) market. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, managing partner relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across sales, quoting, and customer engagement processes. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of IT solutions and the U.S. public sector procurement Process.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Account Managers and Inside Sales Representatives supporting the U.S. SLED segment. Ensure the achievement of annual sales and margin targets for the team. Drive business growth through expansion in hardware, software, cloud, and managed services opportunities. Maintain disciplined sales execution using Dynamics 365 and other Zones tools. Collaborate closely with internal teams in the U.S., India, and globally to align goals and share best practices. Develop and execute sales strategies for pipeline growth and new customer acquisition. Maintain strong relationships with OEM and distribution partners such as Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and AWS to leverage available programs and incentives. Support the team in managing customer relationships, ensuring timely and compliant responses to RFPs, renewals, and service requests. Foster a learning culture by encouraging participation in internal trainings. Celebrate team achievements and maintain accountability for performance improvement. Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and internal governance standards.
