We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Technical Pre-sales Engineer to support business growth in the security solutions field. This role bridges product, sales, and customers, focusing on solution design, technical enablement, and market feedback to drive project success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
1. Product & Solution Training
Deliver product and solution training to customers, channel partners, installers, and sales teams
Conduct certification training (e.g., DHSA, DHSP, SMB) and support customer enablement
Demonstrate product features, selling points, and use cases
Collect customer feedback and align with product managers for continuous improvement
2. Pre-sales Support & Solution Design
Provide technical support for sales activities, including customer visits and demo presentations
Design and propose tailored security solutions based on customer requirements
Support tender projects by preparing BoQ, technical proposals, and solution documentation
Analyze competitor solutions and highlight company advantages
3. Market & Customer Engagement
Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
Collect and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activities and product trends
Gather customer feedback, testing results, and optimization suggestions
Provide regular reports to internal stakeholders (sales, product, HQ teams)
4. Product Localization & Marketing Support
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to localize training materials and documentation
Support product launches, including localization plans and partner enablement
Assist in preparing marketing materials such as brochures, demos, and solution guides
5. Technical Support & Knowledge Management
Support Help Desk and troubleshooting processes to ensure timely issue resolution
Escalate complex technical issues and follow up until closure
Summarize common issues and solutions, and contribute to FAQ and knowledge base documentation
6. Process & Activity Management
Follow GTM (Go-To-Market) standard processes and ensure activity tracking
Maintain accurate records of customer visits, trainings, and project progress
Support internal reporting and performance tracking
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, IT, Telecommunications, or related fields
2–5 years of experience in technical pre-sales / solution engineering, preferably in security, CCTV, or ICT industry
Strong understanding of security systems (e.g., video surveillance, access control, SMB solutions)
Experience in customer-facing roles, training delivery, and technical presentations
Familiar with tender processes and solution design (BoQ, proposals, etc.)
