Faysal Bank Ltd seeks a detail-oriented Product Manager to lead the development and management of Priority Banking and Wealth Management products. This role demands a strong understanding of retail banking offerings such as deposits, investments, takaful, and bundled propositions, coupled with in-depth knowledge of Islamic banking principles, Shariah governance, and State Bank of Pakistan regulatory standards. The Product Manager will guide a team of two members, fostering collaboration across departments to drive innovative, customer-centric financial solutions. This position requires expertise in product design, pricing strategies, profit and loss management, and process optimization to maintain competitive and compliant product lines in a dynamic market. The ideal candidate applies analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data and market research insights effectively. They utilize customer feedback, portfolio analytics, and stakeholder input to enhance existing products and strategize new offerings aligned with the bank’s growth objectives. Responsible for overseeing the complete product lifecycle, the Product Manager ensures successful product launches through meticulous planning, cross-functional coordination, and adherence to compliance requirements. Ultimately, this position plays a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience and driving the bank's Priority and Wealth Management value propositions in both local and international markets.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to evaluate Priority Banking and Wealth Management products available locally and internationally to identify gaps and growth opportunities.
Develop strategic inputs and recommendations for new wealth propositions, partnerships with asset managers, takaful providers, and investment platforms to strengthen the bank’s product portfolio.
Use customer insights, relationship manager feedback, and portfolio analytics to design, refine, or rationalize Priority Banking and Wealth Management product offerings.
Translate strategic objectives into detailed product plans encompassing business requirements, functional specifications, and implementation roadmaps to ensure practical execution.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Priority and Wealth products, including product structuring, obtaining Shariah and regulatory approvals, system configuration, conducting thorough testing, and managing controlled market launches.
Perform periodic market surveys assessing pricing competitiveness, service standards, and market positioning within the Priority and Wealth banking segments to maintain competitive advantage.
Collaborate with Service Quality and Customer Experience teams to identify and resolve recurring customer issues, improve transparency and responsiveness, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Oversee product pricing and manage profit and loss to ensure the financial viability and profitability of product lines.
Ensure strict compliance with governance standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies throughout the product development and management process.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, finance, and operations to ensure seamless product rollouts and sustained product performance.
Lead and mentor a team of two professionals, providing guidance, performance feedback, and support to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to monitor product performance, gather actionable insights, and recommend enhancements or process improvements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and Islamic banking principles to promptly adapt product strategies and maintain compliance.
Drive innovation by staying informed about emerging trends in retail banking and wealth management to continuously improve product offerings.
Facilitate effective communication and stakeholder management to secure buy-in, monitor project progress, and address any risks or challenges promptly.
