Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Italian Project Team and provide technical support for pre-sales and post-sales activities related to security and video surveillance systems. The role involves preparing technical documentation, system drawings, and project specifications, and supporting the implementation and start-up of projects in collaboration with the project sales and technical teams.

Create equipment layouts and typical diagrams using AutoCAD 2D and 3D. Develop typical and block diagrams of security systems using AutoCAD 2D. Translate and adapt technical product data sheets into formal technical documents and project reports. Draft technical specifications and bill of quantities in Word and Excel formats. Prepare and update standard technical reports for security systems. Provide post-sales support, assisting in project start-up, testing, and technical supervision. Collaborate with the sales team to define technical solutions, quotations, and tender documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Automation, or related technical fields. 2–3 years of experience in the security or building automation industry. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D. Good command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection). Ability to read, write, and prepare technical documentation and reports. Good written and spoken English. Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
