Description

Position Summary: The Supply Chain Product Planner will play a critical role in forecasting demand, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth execution of supply plans across multiple channels. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet Dahua’s sales objectives and ensure optimal product availability.

Responsibilities

Demand Forecasting & Inventory Management: Forecast demand, inventory levels, and multi-channel sell-through rates to align with Dahua's sales goals. Generate weekly and monthly supply plans that align with sales objectives and customer demand. Analyze daily product sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Risk Evaluation & Contingency Planning: Evaluate risks associated with supply chain processes and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions. Proactively identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to ensure supply chain resilience. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with the sales order team to ensure supply plans are in line with sales requirements. Work closely with Marketing and Product/Sales Operations teams to determine launch quantities for new product introductions. Facilitate smooth transitions between products to minimize disruptions in the supply chain. Product Availability Communication: Present product availability, including lead times, to operations and internal sales order teams. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of product availability and potential delays. Supply Chain Execution & Optimization: Execute tasks related to the storage, inbound monitoring, and outgoing shipment of products to meet supply demands. Analyze inventory data, identify root causes of issues, and propose improvements to current processes. Develop monthly cycle inventory projections and monitor on-time inbound deliveries.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Data Analysis, or a related field. Professional Chinese and english level Experience: At least 1 year of work experience in a similar environment is preferred. Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex quantitative analysis. Good understanding of market dynamics and how they impact supply chain processes. Experience in fields requiring complex quantitative analysis, such as finance or consulting, is desirable. Prior experience in product planning, production control, inventory management, or production/manufacturing operations is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
