A place for everyone, the Women’s Pavilion demonstrates an important principle: when women thrive, humanity thrives. The Head of the Women’s Pavilion is responsible for overseeing the content, exhibition curation and programming of the pavilion with a focus on programs for youth and girls with a specific focus on the UAE and the Arab World. The position requires the development of partnerships with Expo City entities and external stakeholders to support in the delivery of the mission of the pavilion

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promote gender equality and the empowerment of women.
  • Build upon Women’s Pavilion’s outstanding reputation for engaging and educational programming, convening and catalysing a global network.
  • Identify and manage key exhibitions that focus on the topic of women’s and girls vis a vis global areas of interest in general and with a focus on topics related to the UAE and the Arab world
  • Develop and implement a calendar of events that will support the mission of the pavilion

Job Requirements:

  • Have a university level education (or equivalent experience) in Arts and Humanities, Women’s Studies, or Museum Studies
  • Stellar communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various stakeholder groups.
  • Proven ability to learn new content and acquire new skills at a rapid rate.
  • Reliable, pro-active, energetic team player.
