Description:

As a Design Manager in mustard&linen you will lead delivery teams across multiple projects running concurrently from concept, schematic, design development through IFC stages touching several markets such as commercials, residential, hospitality, and private & semi government workplace. You will work hand and hand with the design director & technical director in managing a team of designers & draftsmen

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility and accountability for design and technical detailing across all design stages through IFC
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, Revit & Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Design and constructability assessment, technical and QAQC reviews
  • Experience dealing with local authorities having jurisdiction on regulatory compliance aspects
  • Prepare and review design reports and project specifications
  • Delivery of complex projects across residential/ hospitality/ workplace/ commercial uses
  • Thorough knowledge of materials and products
  • Through knowledge and understanding of specialist building systems such as façade, vertical transportation, fire & life safety.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture or Project Management
  • Interior design / project management experience (14+ years) in all phases of projects through project handover
  • Outstanding Client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong desire to attract top clients and the best projects
