Job Responsibilities:

  • Update, maintain and revise existing online content
  • Create web pages from graphic source files
  • Build promotional content and deploy using SAP SmartEdit and various digital asset management tools
  • Perform quality assurance in staging environment in multiple browsers/platforms before deploying to production environment
  • Optimize content for accessibility and speed
  • Write high quality HTML,CSS, and JavaScript that is easy to reuse and maintain
  • Complies with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
  • Partner with Copywriters, Designers, Merchandisers, Onboarding Team and the Web Production Team

Job Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field (i.e. Diploma in Computer Science with focus on Web Development) or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of direct work experience in an online production/development role
  • Must have online portfolio showcasing experience and examples of HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS and responsive design
  • Proficient at implementing solutions that are user responsive and efficient
  • Knowledge of the entire web development process
  • Capable and efficient at implementing a resilient web architecture
  • Keen eye and understanding for layout aesthetics
  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Curious about new technologies and driven to find ways to implement them
  • A solid understanding of cross-platform and responsive web design
  • Proficient knowledge of web standards
  • Knowledge of browser debugging tools (Dev Tools, Firebug)
