The Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the Head, CFCC Advisory, FM, AME and Head, CFCC, GIB and the Head CFCC, DIFC & Head CFCC, CCIB, UAE, ADGM & DIFC in managing all regulatory and CFCC risks relating to the Financial Markets (“FM”) business in the United Arab Emirates (“UAE”), Abu Dhabi Global Market (“ADGM”), Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”), and Middle East & North Africa (“MENA”) and aligning this to the vision and strategy of the function, the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (“ERMF”), and delegation of authority documents where relevant.
  • Also responsible for supporting the Head CFCC, DIFC & Head CFCC, CCIB, UAE, ADGM & DIFC and the Head, CFCC Advisory, FM, AME and Head, CFCC, GIB in managing regulatory and CFCC risks relating to the FM businesses in UAE, DIFC and MENA in collaboration with the CFCC resources in relevant cluster and country CFCC teams.
  • I have first line responsibility for the implementation of CFCC policies and procedures for FM processes in UAE, DIFC, and MENA to the extent the processes have been identified as owned by the CFCC function,
  • in line with the Group’s process universe as set out in the Group Operational Risk Framework, including activities within the processes owned by the CFCC function which are hubbed or outsourced (if any).
