We are looking for an IT Network Specialist to provide highly effective, reliable and efficient technical support and supervision for the timely delivery of operations and projects, pertaining to the Contract managed active network and infrastructure. Encompassing design, monitoring, installation and configuration, planned reactive and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and remedial repairs on defined network and systems. These include troubleshooting and maintaining all IT infrastructure assets & security network for the Galleria Mall & ADGMs contracts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintaining, the contract active & passive network infrastructure, and associated systems – including servers, workstations, switches, routers, servers and firewall.
  • Setup, calibration, and technical support for network services, supporting backbone infrastructure, under the Project Agreement.
  • Troubleshoot network or connectivity problems for users, systems, and services.
  • Oversee and support network maintenance and troubleshoot tasks and be familiar with the network infrastructure (cable and patch panels, hubs, switches, router).

Job Requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years’ experience in IT and network security systems, TCP/IP, Internetworking, DHCP, WINS, IIS, and DNS, WiFi, firewall, servers, and workstations
  • Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
