If so, Apt Resources is looking for a Beverage Purchaser to join the procurement team of one of their clients looking at procuring these globally for the West African market. As Beverage Purchaser, you will play a critical role in selecting and sourcing beverages of all kinds based on what the Supermarkets in West Africa require. We are searching for a skilled individual with an eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for the retail market.

Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate pricing for all kinds of beverages globally
- Develop relationships with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely and quality product delivery
- Collaborate with the research and development team to identify and test new beverage products
- Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained and ordering procedures are followed
- Monitor trends and industry changes to stay up-to-date on best practices and new products
- Work closely with the bartender team to create unique and creative cocktails
- Attend trade shows and other industry events to stay abreast of industry trends and build networks

Requirements
- Previous experience as a beverage purchaser, or in a similar role in the retail industry
- Strong negotiating skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies
- Ability to analyze and utilize data to make informed decisions
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in SAP is a must
