Position Title = > Shift Engineer – Steam Turbine Power Plant
Employment Type = > One Year

We are looking for a competent and experienced Shift Engineer to join our team at a Steam Turbine power plant. The role is critical to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations under both normal and emergency conditions.

© Qualification: BSc Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)

🕒 Experience Required: 7 years of experience with minimum 3 years at IPP as shift engineer.

📝 Key Responsibilities:

• Follow the rules and best practices to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.
• Perform emergency, startup, shutdown and repair work to minimize downtime
• The plant is operated in accordance with NEPRA rules, grid code and ISO standards.
• Record every event and parameter.
• Shift reports, monthly/annual reports and operations manager are given and reports are prepared.
• Safety principles and QEHS are taken care of.
• Will plan and execute work in collaboration with maintenance team.
• Communicate with ISMO and RCC, take and manage plant availability.

🎯 Required Skills & Competencies:

• Must work well in a team and communicate well.
• Must be proficient in writing reports and presentations.
• Must lead the team in plant emergencies.
• Must have full responsibility for QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety).
• Must lead the team by example and maintain a high-performing operations team.
