Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning work on the assigned audit by preparing the planning memo for the assignment.
• Assist in determining records or activities to analyse, the extent of tests to apply and the size of samples to be tested.
• Identify key control points within the system under review to focus audit efforts effectively.
• Perform or supervise audits in a professional manner, adhering to approved audit programs and standards.
• Gather, analyse, and evaluate evidential data to formulate an informed, objective assessment of the system’s adequacy, effectiveness, and performance efficiency.
• Prepare formal written draft reports, articulating opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and the efficiency of activities carried out.
• Appraise, or assist in appraising, the accuracy of the corrective action taken to improve deficient conditions.
• Assist in the development of the annual audit plan to ensure comprehensive coverage of audit objectives and priorities.
